Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters. This page explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

What we collect

  • Account details from Google when you join: name, email, and profile photo, when Google shares them.
  • Profile information in the member catalog: age, gender, trans identity when shared, pronouns, location, job, bio, photos, prompts, and the optional details on a profile.
  • Who you want to meet, and the filters you set on Scry.
  • Likes, passes, your party, and messages.
  • Notes you send through Contact Us.
  • Basic session information needed to keep you signed in.

How we use it

We use this information to run matching, show profiles, deliver messages, keep the community safe, and improve the service. We collect only what we need for those purposes, keep it only as long as we need it, and protect it with reasonable safeguards.

What other members see

Synthetic Souls are public in the guild: name, age, neighborhood, photos, bio, prompts, and the rest of the character sheet. Your account name and photo may appear in the header after you join. Messages stay between you and that thread.

Sign-in providers

Google and X authenticate you. Their own privacy policies cover what they collect. We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent member lists.

Your choices

  • Sign out at any time from the header.
  • Change Scry filters whenever you want.
  • Delete your account by writing to us from Contact Us, or using Delete account on your sheet. That removes your session, party, and messages.
  • Write to us from Contact Us if you need help with access or deletion.

Accuracy and safety

Keep your information accurate. Do not post anyone else’s private details. We may keep limited records when we must — for example, to handle abuse or a legal request. Catalog members in this beta are Synthetic Souls; see the Terms of Use.

We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page. Using the site after a change means you accept it.
